Da Nang allocates more than 76 billion VND to overcome damage after natural disasters

On December 2, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city announced that it had issued a Decision on allocating funds from the city's relief fund to localities to support overcoming damage to agriculture, forestry, health, education, culture and essential infrastructure works after natural disasters.

Accordingly, the decision was made to allocate more than VND76.5 billion from the city's relief fund to 62 localities and units to overcome damage to agriculture, forestry, health, education , culture and essential infrastructure after natural disasters.

Remedial activities such as: Support for damage to agriculture and forestry; purchase and repair of machinery and teaching equipment, minor repairs to damaged school buildings; purchase of equipment, minor repairs to commune and ward health stations...

In addition, purchasing equipment, making minor repairs to village cultural houses, residential groups, community activity houses, cultural and sports facilities in residential areas; making minor repairs to drainage ditches, sewers, fixing minor damages to residential roads in residential areas; purchasing and repairing self-flowing domestic water pipeline systems; making minor repairs to irrigation canals...

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Relief Mobilization Committees of localities allocated funds are responsible for receiving, managing, and coordinating with the People's Committees at the same level to use the above-mentioned funds for the right purposes, with the right content, ensuring compliance with regulations, timeliness, publicity, and transparency.
