With more than 95% of the construction volume completed, the Lien Chieu Port Project and the coastal road connecting the port are entering the final stage, creating the foundation for Da Nang to form a modern logistics center of the region.

The Lien Chieu Port Project (Hai Van Ward, Da Nang) and the connecting coastal road are being accelerated to complete the main items before the Lunar New Year. According to the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects in Da Nang, the progress is affected by storms in 2025, but contractors have mobilized maximum human resources and equipment to ensure progress.

Mr. Tran Van Chung, Director of Lien Chieu Port Project Management Board, said that the construction volume has reached 95%, almost all main items have been completed. This is a large-scale project in the Central region, playing a key role in the seaport development strategy of Da Nang.

When completed, Lien Chieu Port will contribute to increasing the capacity to receive cargo ships, reducing the load on Tien Sa Port and opening up development space to the Northwest of the city. The coastal route connecting the port will create a continuous traffic axis from the center to Lien Chieu and Hoa Khanh industrial parks and the Nam Hai Van bypass, helping to transport goods smoothly and separate from urban traffic.

The completion of these two key infrastructure projects is expected to create a foundation for Da Nang to develop its marine economy , form an inter-regional logistics center and enhance its position in the international trade network.
