Da Nang effectively promotes the "3-house" linkage model

DNO - On the afternoon of November 28, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a working session with leaders of universities, colleges and representatives of corporations and enterprises in the city to discuss solutions to strengthen coordination and promote the effectiveness of the "State - school - enterprise" linkage model in the new development period. According to the Center for Supporting Innovative Startups (Department of Science and Technology), the "3-house" model (State - school - business) plays a strategic role in the context of the country entering a period of accelerating the transformation of the growth model based on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Recently, the center has proactively implemented many activities to connect and effectively operate the "3 houses" model in the city.

A typical example is the cooperation with the University of Education (University of Danang ) to establish the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, creating a space to support students, lecturers and research groups to approach businesses, develop technology projects and commercialize products.

In addition, the center regularly organizes forums connecting technology supply and demand, business tour programs for lecturers and students, thematic working sessions between schools and businesses, and implements applied research projects.

At the meeting, delegates focused on proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of the “3-house” model. Some businesses wanted to access the research teams and laboratories of schools to implement projects and support mechanisms for research and application cooperation projects.

Many delegates shared international experiences and proposed that Da Nang expand global cooperation, connect foreign innovation centers to bring about cooperation opportunities; establish a permanent group to act as a focal point between universities and businesses, survey practical needs, classify business groups and coordinate research cooperation activities.

Representatives of universities and colleges proposed to support the construction of innovation spaces, promote applied research and commercialize results. In addition, it was proposed to deploy multilingual tourist guides using QR codes, expand new technology training programs such as Samsung Innovation Campus, and provide free AI courses for city students.

Concluding the working session, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Quang Buu directed the City People's Committee Office to fully synthesize opinions from schools and businesses and issue a joint notice for departments and branches to implement together.

The Department of Science and Technology is assigned to soon complete the database on innovative startups, integrating AI consulting functions to support users in searching and choosing suitable programs.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized the public disclosure of support information on the website, helping businesses and students easily access policies; encouraging the expansion of the "3-house" cooperation model in a practical direction, linked to the R&D needs of businesses and the city's development goals.

Universities, colleges, and educational institutions in the city urgently build and operate innovation spaces, requiring specific results by December 2025 and the first quarter of 2026.

Regarding procedural and mechanism problems, the city affirmed that it will direct specialized agencies to coordinate and provide maximum support.
