Da Nang approves Project to promote and develop the heritage value of Ma Nhai Ngu Hanh Son

VHO - The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a decision approving the Project to promote and develop the value of Ma Nhai documentary heritage at the Ngu Hanh Son National Special Monument, aiming to preserve, honor and spread the value of this unique heritage to the community at home and abroad.

According to the decision, the City People's Committee assigned Ngu Hanh Son ward to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones and related units to implement the project in two phases: from now to 2030 and orientation to 2045.

In phase 1 (implementation until 2030), the city focuses on building products to promote and develop the value of Ma Nhai heritage, while considering the preservation and restoration of documents as an urgent and long-term task. Research activities, content interpretation, and application of modern preservation technology to prolong the life of heritage are focused on.

The project also aims to incorporate knowledge about Ma Nhai Ngu Hanh Son into the Local Education subject at secondary and high schools, helping students better understand the cultural and historical values ​​of the heritage through learning, visiting and experiencing VR360 technology and virtual museums.

The Ma Nhai at the National Monument of Ngu Hanh Son Scenic Area are the only positive copies, in large numbers, still remaining on the cliffs.

The city will build a smart explanation system at relic sites, using translucent meka boards with printed images of Ma Nhai and QR codes for viewers to scan and access descriptive information, images, and documentaries. In addition, many modern media products such as short films, promotional TVCs, multilingual photo books, 3D Mapping films recreating historical contexts, characters, events, etc. will also be produced to serve propaganda, foreign affairs, and tourism promotion.

The project also aims to organize an international conference to evaluate Ma Nhai in the context of human heritage, and at the same time seek solutions for effective preservation and promotion. Communication work will be promoted on the press, television and social networks...

The city will invest in an artistic lighting system to honor the Ma Nhai value, build a multilingual virtual museum integrating big data and produce new generation 3D films that vividly recreate the context, people and historical events.

The work of inventorying, numbering, collecting, digitizing and restoring Ma Nhai continues to be carried out regularly. The city will also create unique tourism products from Ma Nhai heritage, associated with Non Nuoc stone carving village, and at the same time publish research publications on Buddhism in Dang Trong, contributing to enriching local cultural and tourism products.
