(QNO) - On the afternoon of April 27, in Da Nang City, for the first time, Vietravel Tourism Company officially launched the Free Walking Tours product line to serve visitors free of charge. Thereby, helping visitors have authentic experiences about the culture and history of this land.
Starting from the Da Nang General Library, for about 2 hours, the group of tourists walked along the Han River to visit and experience the unique landmarks and architectural works of Da Nang such as the Han River Swing Bridge, Han Market, Dragon Bridge, Champa Sculpture Museum, APEC Park, Love Bridge - Carp Transforming into Dragon Statue.
Throughout the journey, visitors will hear the tour guide explain and introduce each road and architecture. Each location is an interesting story about history, culture, architecture, and unique art. Visitors can also participate in interesting activities such as going to the market, learning about street food, shopping, etc.
Launched in 2017, Vietravel's Free Walking Tours project is considered the first and only free tourism model in the travel industry to connect Vietnamese culture with international tourists, helping tourists to "live slowly" to see, feel and experience the lives of people on each route they pass.
The program is expected to be held periodically at 4 pm every Saturday, with a maximum of 20 guests per group. The route is about 3km long, passing through landmarks including the Da Nang General Science Library, Han River Swing Bridge, Han Market, Dragon Bridge, Champa Sculpture Museum, APEC Park, Carp Transforming into Dragon Statue - Love Bridge. The tour takes 2 hours, and the tour price is completely free.
