Da Nang: Official information about 3 people suspected of being buried after landslide

On the afternoon of November 14, Da Nang City Police officially informed about 3 people suspected of being buried by rocks and soil after a landslide that occurred at noon the same day in Hung Son commune.

Previously, at noon on November 14, Hung Son Commune Police reported to Da Nang City Police that through initial information, the people reported that about 3 people were working in the fields, suspected of being buried. It is estimated that millions of cubic meters of rock and soil from the hill above fell down, covering about 1km of the stream at the foot of the hill. There is still a risk that this hill will continue to collapse.

The suspected buried cases include Mr. Zo Ram Nho, born in 1997, a security force of Hung Son commune; Briu Thi Tep, born in 1998 (Mr. Nho's wife) and Hoi Zi Nu, born in 1980, both residing in Put village, Hung Son commune. The landslide also buried 7 motorbikes of the people... The damage related to the landslides and buried fields of the people has not yet been counted.

Authorities were present at the scene, cordoning off the area to protect people from the landslide and urgently searching the area where 3 people were suspected to be buried by rocks and soil. Previously, in this area, heavy rains had occurred for many days, making the hilly soil more loose and prone to landslides.
