Accordingly, the Da Nang City Civil Defense Command requested the organization to gradually lower the reservoir water level to the highest water level before the flood, before 10:00 p.m. on November 3, 2025. The start of operation is from 9:00 a.m. on November 1, 2025.

The operation must comply with the procedure 1865/QD-TTg dated December 23, 2019 of the Prime Minister on the operation of inter-reservoirs in the Vu Gia - Thu Bon river basin; at the same time, avoid sudden changes and ensure safety for the downstream area.

The Command also requested the People's Committees of communes and wards in the downstream areas to urgently notify people, organizations, and vehicles operating on the river, along the river, aquaculture facilities, ferry terminals, spillways, etc. about operational information to proactively prevent and ensure safety of life and property.

At the same time, review flood prevention plans, riverbank landslide areas, disseminate flood prevention skills to people, and strictly prohibit firewood collection and fishing activities on the river during lake regulation.
