Con Co Special Zone: A composite boat was found drifting at sea

QTO - Information from the People's Committee of Con Co special economic zone on the afternoon of November 14 said that while exploiting seafood near the island, people discovered a boat made of composite materials drifting at sea.

This boat is blue, made of composite material, canoe-shaped with a steering wheel, discovered by Mr. Le Van Thuong, residing in Con Co special zone, during seafood exploitation on November 9, about 1.5 nautical miles west-southwest of shore.

The boat is 7.45m long, 1.85m wide, 0.9m high; the left side and top of the boat have foreign letters printed in white; on the boat there are some fishing tools; the boat is used, many places are damaged.

After discovering the boat, the People's Committee of Con Co Special Zone issued a notice to find the owner to complete the procedures to receive the property. After 1 year from the date of public notice, if no organization or individual comes to receive it, the People's Committee of the Special Zone will proceed to handle it according to the law.
