The sealed fishing vessels include: QNg 6153TS; QNg 6627 TS; QNg 66051 TS; QNg 66087 TS; QNg 66144 TS; QNg 06460 TS; QNg 96103 TS. All owners reside in Ly Son special zone.

The above vessels are in the group at high risk of violating regulations on fishing, have not fully ensured registration and inspection documents and do not meet technical requirements to be qualified to go to sea.

Local authorities said that inspecting and strictly handling violations is one of the measures to tightly control seafood exploitation activities and implement the European Commission's (EC) commitment to remove the IUU yellow card.
