On the evening of March 10, the opening ceremony of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 with the theme 'Destination of world coffee' officially took place at March 10 Square, solemn and full of pride in the heroic land, rich in identity, the homeland of the world's best Robusta coffee beans.

The opening ceremony was attended by Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; leaders of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, Buon Ma Thuot City and localities; General Director of the International Coffee Organization (ICO) - Ms. Vanusia Nogueira; representatives of ministries, central agencies, diplomatic corps, organizations, associations, enterprises and a large number of domestic and foreign press reporters.

With special content praising the people and land of Buon Ma Thuot, honoring the values ​​of Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee, Vietnamese coffee culture, the Opening Ceremony attracted thousands of domestic and international tourists, local people to watch right at the square, as well as through live TV programs on Vietnam Television - VTV1 channel & DRT Channel - Dak Lak Radio and Television Station, Radio and Television Stations of the Central Highlands provinces.

Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee

The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025, taking place from March 9 to 13, is an important event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory Day, liberating Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025).

As one of the important activities of this year's festival, the opening ceremony was elaborately staged on a large scale with a solemn ceremonial program with the participation of many leaders of the Party, State, central and local ministries, branches, organizations, world coffee associations and many invited guests from more than 30 countries. At the same time, the special art program honoring Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee beans and Vietnamese coffee culture gathered more than 1,500 artists, singers, actors, students in Dak Lak province, domestic and international art troupes to participate.
