In recent days, historic floods, "floods on floods", "storms on storms" have caused very serious damage in the provinces of Gia Lai, Dak Lak , Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong and some other localities. Although the Party, the State, all levels, sectors and localities have focused on flood and storm prevention, natural disasters still cause very heavy damage to people and property of the people in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
As of 7:00 a.m. on November 26, 2025, the damage caused by floods has left more than 100 people dead and missing; more than 200,000 houses flooded, nearly 1,000 houses damaged; more than 82,000 hectares of crops and over 117,000 hectares of trees flooded; more than 3.3 million livestock and poultry died or were swept away; many residential areas were isolated, cut off, and communications were interrupted; roads in localities and the North-South railway were cut off in many places for many days; people in flooded areas faced numerous difficulties...
Implementing the Conclusion Notice No. 99 dated November 21, 2025 of the Politburo ; in the spirit of "Love others as you love yourself", "Mutual love"; in the spirit of "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country" and responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, as of the afternoon of November 24, 2025, Hanoi city has supported 22 provinces and cities with a total amount of 188 billion VND, of which Gia Lai province is 50 billion VND to overcome the consequences of floods. Hanoi continues to support 250 billion VND for Gia Lai province to build resettlement areas and repair traffic infrastructure damaged by storms and floods. This morning (November 26), the city continued to hand over 50 tons of relief goods to Gia Lai province.
In order to show their sharing and sense of responsibility, delegates attending the twenty-eighth session of the City People's Council donated to support people in the Central and Central Highlands regions to overcome the consequences of floods, contributing to the people's early stabilization of their lives, reconstruction of production and return to normal life.

The launching ceremony raised a total of 150 million VND. The entire amount will be sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City to share and support the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions to overcome the consequences of floods.
