Provincial People's Council delegates discussed many important contents in preparation for the 6th Session.

On the morning of December 2, delegates of the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, divided into groups to discuss and give opinions on reports, submissions and draft resolutions to be submitted at the upcoming 6th Session.

Accordingly, the delegates were divided into 03 groups for discussion. The discussion focused on evaluating the results of the implementation of the Socio- Economic Development Plan for 2025 and the period 2021 - 2025; at the same time, setting out directions and tasks for 2026 and the 5-year plan 2026 - 2030; and the provincial budget estimate for 2025.

In addition, other important reports were discussed, including: Results of handling voters' petitions, administrative reform, prevention and control of corruption, crime, and law violations; situation of practicing thrift and fighting waste in 2025; financial plan - State budget for 3 years 2026 - 2028 and 5-year financial plan for 2026 - 2030; reports of judicial agencies; activities of the Provincial People's Council and its Committees.

Delegates discussed the reports and draft Resolutions on: The 5-year socio-economic development plan for 2026 - 2030; the 5-year financial plan of Ca Mau province for the period 2026 - 2030; the socio-economic development plan for 2026; regulations on principles, criteria and norms for allocating the regular expenditure budget of Ca Mau province in 2026; regulations on expenditure levels for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the term 2026 - 2031; the budget estimate of Ca Mau province in 2026; the public investment plan for 2026; regulations on preferential land rent exemption regimes for each region and field for projects using land for production and business purposes in investment incentive fields or in investment incentive areas in the province; regulations on health insurance support levels for a number of subjects; Approving the first land price list to be announced and applied from January 1, 2026 in the province; regulating the level of spending on gifts to congratulate and celebrate the longevity of the elderly...

Provincial People's Council delegates contributed opinions at Group 02.

Through discussion, delegates highly agreed with the reports and draft Resolutions; at the same time, requested attention to a number of contents: Upgrading educational facilities and equipment; perfecting policies for teachers; ensuring 2 sessions/day and boarding, prioritizing remote and isolated areas; consolidating the grassroots health system, fully equipping equipment, overcoming the shortage of doctors, attracting high-quality human resources, improving health insurance coverage rate; improving the quality of domestic water, checking the operation of water supply stations, investing in technology and allocating capital reasonably; ensuring resources for social security projects, reviewing the list of routes in the land price list, adjusting the level of spending on birthday and longevity gifts and reasonably allocating expenses for exams and competitions in the education sector.

The specialized agencies have explained, clarified and continued to perfect the draft Resolution.

Delegate Truong Thanh Nha - Head of Group 01 received comments and contributions.

At the end of the discussion session, the Group Leaders received and summarized the delegates' opinions to report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; at the same time, requested the Provincial People's Committee to receive the delegates' opinions and complete the documents to be submitted at the 6th Session.
