HCMC People's Council delegates meet with voters of Lai Thieu ward

On the afternoon of August 7, the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council - Unit No. 27, including delegate Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council; delegate Nguyen Thi Nhat Hang, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, had a meeting with more than 200 voters of Lai Thieu ward.

After listening to the report on the results of the 2nd session of the 10th term of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, term 2021-2026, voters of Lai Thieu ward raised a number of opinions and recommendations on issues such as: Unifying a set of textbooks nationwide to avoid waste and expense for parents and students; expanding rural roads.

Voters of Lai Thieu ward expressed their opinions at the meeting.

Delegate Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong acknowledged and accepted the opinions of voters and responded satisfactorily to their opinions and recommendations. He also requested local leaders to promptly resolve issues raised by voters within the ward’s jurisdiction. Regarding the remaining issues, Comrade Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong promised to forward them to higher authorities for consideration and resolution as soon as possible.
