Danang University and Ton Duc Thang University won the 2025 National Student Basketball Tournament

This is a tournament within the National Student Sports Tournament (NUC) system, chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training , co-organized with Max Sports Entertainment Joint Stock Company (MSE) and Viet Digital Content and Trading Joint Stock Company (Vietcontent).

After more than a month of qualifying competition, gathering 161 teams from 131 universities, academies and colleges across the country with 241 matches, the 2025 National Student Basketball Tournament entered the final round held at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Gymnasium, with the participation of 8 men's teams and 6 women's teams representing the three regions of North - Central - South.

After a week of intense and dramatic matches in a vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large number of students and fans to cheer in person and via social media platforms and the TV360 application, the tournament has found 4 excellent names to qualify for the finals of the men's and women's events.

In the women's category, the clash was between Ton Duc Thang University and Da Nang University - both teams were eager to stand on the top podium for the first time. A final match that could be said to be extremely emotional ended with the victory for the girls of Ton Duc Thang University by only 1 point and was only decided in the last seconds for the girls of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

After the exciting women's final match, fans continued to be "treated to another feast" by the University of Transport and Danang University, with an engaging, exciting and dramatic script until the last seconds of the men's final match.

After dramatic matches, with their bravery, the players of Danang University performed well on the field, thereby winning a thrilling victory with a score of 74-71. The championship was well deserved for Danang University when they showed their tenacity and team spirit.

Two final matches with unbelievable scenarios and a vibrant, bustling atmosphere created by fans sitting in the stands and on the field of the University of Science and Technology gymnasium was the most beautiful ending for the NUC 2026 TV360 Cup.

Under the slogan “Lead the Game”, the tournament brought to audiences across the country exciting competitions, demonstrating the sportsmanship, youthful enthusiasm and the desire to break through and demonstrate the spirit of “leading the game” in all areas of life of the Vietnamese student generation.

Not only attractive on the field, NUC 2025 – TV360 Cup also left a strong mark in the media and technology. For the first time, 241 qualifying matches across 3 regions, 24 matches of the final round were produced and broadcast live with high quality on the TV360 digital platform.
