Congress of Mass Organizations of Phuoc Giang Commune

On the morning of May 22nd, Phuoc Giang commune held its first Congress of Delegates of Mass Organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State, for the term 2026-2031.

During the past term, the Associations for the Promotion of Learning, the Red Cross, the Elderly Association, the Former Youth Volunteers Association, and the Association of Patriotic Prisoners in Phuoc Giang commune have played a crucial role in mobilizing members to participate in emulation movements, social welfare, and local development. These associations have mobilized over 2 billion VND in support for the poor and vulnerable, and awarded over 1,000 scholarships to students. They also celebrated the birthdays of over 2,500 elderly members and promptly addressed the entitlements of former youth volunteers and patriotic prisoners. Following the merger, the associations have streamlined their organization and arranged their branch systems to suit the local population, ensuring stable and effective operation.
