Attending the Congress were comrade Pham Gia Viet, member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology; representatives of Party Committees of affiliated Party Cells and 23 union members who were officially summoned delegates.
The Congress approved the program, regulations, summary report of the Union's work and youth movement for the 2024-2025 term; review report of the Provisional Executive Committee; discussed and voted to approve the direction and tasks of the Union's work and youth movement for the 2025-2027 term. During the past term, the Youth Union always closely followed the leadership of the Party Committee and the Union at higher levels, implementing many practical movement activities, associated with the professional tasks of the unit. Youth Union members actively trained, studied, promoted the spirit of vanguard and volunteering, making an important contribution to the completion of the Department's political tasks.
Entering the new term 2025-2027 with the theme "Youth of the Department of Science and Technology - Creativity - Pioneering digital transformation - Solidarity - Development", the Youth Union sets out the main goals such as: 100% of union members seriously implement "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"; organize at least 01 youth project each year associated with professional tasks; introduce at least 05 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration; enhance the application of science and technology and digital transformation in the activities of the Youth Union.

At the Congress, the decisions on appointing the Executive Committee of the Youth Union Branch and the Executive Committee of the Department Youth Union Branch for the 2025-2027 term included 05 comrades with capacity, enthusiasm, dynamism, meeting the proposed personnel standards, including: Comrade Nguyen Tan Qui holds the position of Secretary of the Youth Union Branch, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Tien holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union Branch, Comrade Nguyen Quang Tu, Comrade Nguyen Van Anh and Comrade Cao Y Quan hold the positions of Members of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union Branch.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Pham Gia Viet, member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Director of the Department Science and Technology recognizes and highly appreciates the results that the Youth Union has achieved in the past time, especially the spirit of solidarity, initiative and pioneering role of youth union members in performing professional tasks. He emphasized that in the context of the science and technology sector promoting digital transformation, the Youth Union needs to continue to promote creativity, improve professional capacity, increase the application of information technology in union activities, contributing to building a modern and effective working environment. He suggested that the new Executive Committee proactively advise and propose models and solutions related to the tasks of the Department; promote the movements "Creative Youth", "Digital Transformation Pioneer", improve the quality of Union activities, etc. Continue to focus on caring for and nurturing union members, while increasing the quota of proposing outstanding union members for the Party to consider admitting. He believes that with the sense of responsibility and enthusiasm of youth, the Department of Science and Technology Youth Union will continue to achieve many outstanding results in the 2025-2027 term, making practical contributions to the overall development of the unit.

Donate to support people affected by floods in the Eastern Dak Lak region
Within the framework of the Congress, the Youth Union launched a fundraising program to support people affected by floods in the Eastern Dak Lak region. With the spirit of "mutual love", delegates and members enthusiastically responded, raising 3.5 million VND. The entire fund will be transferred by the Youth Union to the right address, promptly supporting households to overcome difficulties after natural disasters, demonstrating community responsibility and the humane beauty of the youth of the Department of Science and Technology.
