Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television Grassroots Trade Union was established on the basis of merging four grassroots trade unions: Dak Lak Newspaper, Phu Yen Newspaper, Dak Lak Radio and Television Station and Phu Yen Radio and Television Station.

Immediately after its establishment, the Union has implemented many activities to care for the lives and protect the rights of union members and workers; coordinated the implementation of policies and regulations; promptly encouraged the spirit and improved the welfare of workers. Currently, the average income of union members is about 10 million VND/month, and life is basically stable.

Social security work is also given special attention. The Union has coordinated with specialized departments and sponsors to donate 6 sets of computers to disadvantaged villages; 75 scholarships, 105 coats and 2 bicycles to students in Xuan Lanh, Phu Mo and Dong Xuan communes.
At the same time, 900 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts were given to children in the twinned villages; and 3 houses of gratitude (VND 70 million/house) were supported to be built for poor households in disadvantaged communes in the province.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television Trade Union aims to continue to care for the lives and protect the legitimate rights of union members.
The Union strives to have over 90% of its members study the Party's resolutions, policies and laws each year; 100% of employees' legal advice needs are supported; over 80% of its members participate in cultural, artistic and sports activities; 85% of female civil servants and employees achieve the title "Good at public affairs, good at housework". Each year, the Union strives to introduce at least 2 outstanding members to the Party for consideration and training.

Speaking at the congress, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee (Provincial Labor Federation) Nguyen Hung praised the achievements that the Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television Trade Union has achieved in recent times.
At the same time, it is recommended that the Trade Union continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in a positive and effective direction; strengthen the representative role, take better care of union members' lives; strictly implement democratic regulations and improve the quality of union cadres; promote the launching of patriotic emulation movements associated with the political tasks of the unit; pay attention to praising and rewarding typical advanced collectives and individuals; promote the work of fostering and developing the Party among union members.

Comrade Le Van The, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Dak Lak Newspaper, Radio and Television Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
