The Congress of Trade Union delegates of General Hospital No. 2 for the 2025 - 2030 term was a great success.

On December 2, the Trade Union of General Hospital No. 2 successfully held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030, with the participation of 150 union members.

This is an important political event, marking a new development step of the General Hospital No. 2 Trade Union in the context of the health sector continuing to innovate, requiring improvement of the quality of medical examination and treatment services, improving the working environment and enhancing care for the lives of cadres, civil servants and workers.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Huy - Deputy Director of the Hospital, Chairman of the Trade Union of General Hospital No. 2 delivered the opening speech of the congress.

The grassroots trade union of General Hospital No. 2 under the Cam Duong Ward Trade Union has 740 union members and workers operating in 37 union groups.

Under the leadership of the hospital Party Committee, the hospital's trade union activities have developed strongly. Union members have promoted the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, successfully completing the Resolution of the 3rd Congress of Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital Trade Union (term 2023 - 2025). The grassroots trade union of General Hospital No. 2 has affirmed its role as a reliable support for workers and effectively coordinated with the government to build a civilized and safe working environment.

100% of staff, civil servants and workers are provided with favorable working conditions and receive regular health check-ups. The survey shows that the satisfaction rate of medical staff is 91%.

The Union also coordinated the full implementation of policies: salary, bonus, labor protection, social insurance, health insurance. During the term, 961 people received salary increases, of which: 176 were increased early, 785 were increased regularly.

Caring for union members' lives has always been a focus. The Union visited and presented gifts to 55 policy families with a total value of 137.5 million VND; supported 43 union members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Lunar New Year with 43 million VND. Notably, in 2024, the Union supported 63 families of union members and workers affected by storm No. 3 with a total amount of 126 million VND.

The movement "Good workers, Creative workers" has attracted a large number of workers to actively contribute initiatives and solutions to improve techniques, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for people .

In the recent period, the hospital has had 46 grassroots-level topics approved by the Department of Health; 432 grassroots-level initiatives; 25 provincial-level initiatives recognized. In particular, 17 solutions participating in the Innovation Contest organized by the Provincial Labor Federation won many high prizes: 4 First prizes, 2 Second prizes, 5 Third prizes, 5 Encouragement prizes.

The union development program achieved outstanding results. 100% of the entire unit's staff and workers participated in the union.

Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, the Trade Union of General Hospital No. 2 determined to continue innovating the content and methods of operation; improving the quality of the trade union staff; protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members; promoting propaganda and education; developing union members and building a strong trade union organization, contributing to the development of the health sector.

At the congress, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of General Hospital No. 2 for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 11 comrades, was introduced and received their duties. Comrade Nguyen Viet Hai - Deputy Director of General Hospital No. 2 holds the position of Chairman of the Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.
