The 1st Congress of Nga My Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030

On the morning of August 21, Nga My Commune Party Committee solemnly held the First Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030. Attending and giving a speech at the Congress was comrade Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities. Nga My Commune was merged with two communes Nga My and Xieng My of Tuong Duong district. During the term 2020 - 2025, the Party Committee and people of Nga My Commune united, made efforts to overcome difficulties, and achieved many outstanding results in various fields: the economy continued to grow, average income per capita reached 32 million VND/year; Party building and political system work were focused on, the quality of cadres and party members was constantly improved; national defense and security were maintained, and the great national unity bloc was strengthened.

The Congress spent a lot of time discussing and agreeing on the general goal of improving the leadership capacity of the Party Committee, promoting the strength of national unity, exploiting potential, mobilizing and effectively using resources to develop Nga My quickly and sustainably. In which, it emphasized taking good care of the three words "safe": "settling down, security, and safety", thereby improving people's lives.

Congress voted

The Congress also identified many important targets by 2030, such as: economic growth rate of 7-8%/year; average income per capita of 60 million VND; 100% of commune roads are paved; 35% of villages meet new rural standards; reduce the average annual poverty rate by 8%; 100% of the population participates in health insurance; have at least 5 products meeting OCOP standards of 3 stars or more. To successfully achieve the goals, the Congress set out 5 key tasks, including: continuing to build a clean and strong Party and political system; developing production, improving people's lives; focusing on developing socio-economic infrastructure, especially transportation and Nga My market; developing education, health care, preserving and promoting cultural identity associated with community tourism; ensuring national defense and security. At the same time, three breakthroughs were identified: promoting administrative reform and digital transformation; mobilizing resources for infrastructure investment; and building a team of cadres and civil servants with high qualities, capacity, and responsibility.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Vi Van Son commended and acknowledged the achievements of the Party Committee and people of Nga My commune in the past term; at the same time, he requested the commune to continue promoting the strength of solidarity, mobilizing and effectively using all resources, building a comprehensive strong political system, and making Nga My commune increasingly developed.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Growth - Development", the Congress set out goals, directions, key tasks and breakthroughs for the new term, determined to build Nga My commune to develop comprehensively and sustainably.
