Congress of Delegates of the Elderly Association of Hung Loi Commune

Over the past five years, the work of the Elderly Association in Hung Loi commune has achieved many important results, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio -economic development goals and tasks of the locality and the objectives set forth in the Resolution of the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Elderly Association.

The "Elderly Role Models" movement, launched annually by the Association, has created a vibrant atmosphere of emulation; the elderly in the area have set exemplary examples, encouraging their children, families, and the community to compete in labor and production. Many elderly people have directly participated in Party, government, front, and mass organization work; and have been trusted by the people to be elected as village leaders and respected figures in the community.

Members of the Association of Elderly People have actively participated in the New Rural Development movement through concrete actions such as contributing money, donating land, planting trees, and collecting waste to protect the environment. Healthcare for the elderly has been prioritized, with 704 elderly people receiving health check-ups annually, and 100% of members being issued health insurance cards.

The Congress set forth five basic targets and three main solutions to implement the tasks. For the 2026-2031 term, the Hung Loi Commune Elderly Association will continue to uphold the tradition of solidarity, leverage wisdom and life experience, and build families of "exemplary grandparents and parents, and filial children and grandchildren." It will continue to strengthen and build a robust organization; promote social mobilization and build resources to care for the elderly, with members at the center of activities. At the same time, it will promote the "Elderly, Shining Examples" emulation movement, enhance the position and role of the elderly in social life, and continue to make positive contributions to building the homeland and protecting the nation.

The congress introduced the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Hung Loi Commune Senior Citizens Association, term I, 2026-2031, and also introduced the delegates attending the higher-level congress.
