The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province

The 1st Congress of the Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province was held with the spirit of "Solidarity-Democracy-Innovation-Creativity-Development".

Comrade Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF); Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee; representatives of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor; 323 delegates representing classes, strata of people, ethnic groups and religions attended the Congress.

As the first Congress after the merger of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces, it is an important political event of all classes and ethnic groups in the province, demonstrating the great national unity bloc, and is a profound political event in the political system.

In recent times, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province has closely coordinated with state agencies and member organizations to propagate, mobilize, and widely gather people from all walks of life, creating consensus, unity and social stability. The content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations from the province to the grassroots have many innovations, creativity, and flexible adaptation to changes in practical situations. There are many new models and effective ways of doing things, with positive spillover effects in social life.

Caring for the poor and social security has been systematically and strongly implemented by the Fatherland Front at all levels, mobilizing more than 133 billion VND in support, building the "For the Poor" Fund; mobilizing more than 390 billion VND and allocating more than 750 tons of goods and necessities to promptly support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has promoted its core role in mobilizing, gathering and arousing the strength of great national unity, organizing and launching a peak emulation campaign "30 days and nights of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province" creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, contributing to the whole province completing its goals ahead of schedule and plan.

The whole province has more than 2,000 effective operating models, 100% of residential areas have established clubs, teams, and interest groups for culture, arts, and community sports, which are increasingly expanding in both scale and quality, becoming useful and healthy playgrounds, attracting a large number of people from all walks of life to participate.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, commended, acknowledged and congratulated the outstanding results and achievements of the Provincial Fatherland Front.

Delegates representing all walks of life and religions attended the Congress.

The comrades suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province should continue to thoroughly and deeply organize, study and research the speech of General Secretary To Lam at the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations, term 2025-2030, with the requirement of consistency in 3 guiding viewpoints, 6 key tasks and the formula "3 easy - 3 clear - 3 measurable".

Continue to concretize the implementation of Resolution No. 43 of the 13th Party Central Committee on "Promoting the tradition and strength of great national unity, building a prosperous and happy country"; firmly uphold President Ho Chi Minh's ideology of "Taking people as the root", and at the same time be consistent with the guiding viewpoint of General Secretary To Lam: "Taking people as the center, subject, goal and driving force of innovation".

Improve the quality of social supervision and criticism work with the spirit of "clear work - clear responsibility - clear effectiveness"; innovate emulation movements and major campaigns in a practical direction, associated with the province's sustainable development and green growth goals; The Fatherland Front at provincial and communal levels continues to focus on operating well the new organizational model, promoting the application of science and digital technology, effectively deploying the "Digital Front Portal" to receive 24/7 feedback and recommendations from the people.

The consultative congress elected 110 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province, term I, 2025-2030; The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province consulted and unanimously elected comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province, to be re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province.
