The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025 - 2030, was a great success.

On the morning of November 12, at the Provincial Cultural Center, the Opening Session of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025 - 2030, took place with the participation of 323 official delegates representing classes, strata of people, ethnic groups, religions and specialized staff working for the VFF at all levels in Thai Nguyen province.

Delegates from Thai Nguyen province included comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; Standing Committee of the People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; former leaders of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces through the periods; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor; leaders of departments, branches, localities and representatives of religious organizations in the province.
The Congress listened to a report on the results of the first working session; a report on the results of the Fatherland Front's work in the 2024-2025 period, key tasks in the 2025-2030 period; a report summarizing comments on the draft documents of the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term; the 10th-term Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (amended); and documents of the Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Dinh Quang Tuyen emphasized that the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025 - 2030, is the first Congress after the merger of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces. This is an important political event of all classes of people in the province, of the great national unity bloc; is the result of the process of serious preparation and implementation of the Congress from the grassroots level; together with the emulation movements to welcome the Congress that were launched and implemented enthusiastically and widely, creating a widespread political movement in the political system, from residential areas and among all classes of people towards the successful implementation of the political tasks of the province and each locality.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the Congress has the task of summarizing and evaluating the results of activities in the past term, building an action program for the next term to actively contribute to the successful implementation of the socio-economic, defense and security goals set out in the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress. At the same time, it participates in giving opinions on the draft documents of the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The consultative congress elects the Fatherland Front Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and sends a delegation to attend the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the 2026 - 2031 term.

On the basis of setting out specific directions, goals and action programs for the 2025 - 2030 term, determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges, promote patriotism, the strength of great national unity, strengthen social consensus to create new momentum to contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress.

In recent times, promoting the strength of the great national solidarity bloc, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province has closely coordinated with state agencies and member organizations to propagate, mobilize, and widely gather people from all walks of life, creating consensus, unity and social stability. The content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations from the province to the grassroots have many innovations, creativity, and flexible adaptation to changes in the practical situation, with many new models and effective methods, having a positive influence in social life. Caring for the poor and social security has been systematically and strongly implemented by the Fatherland Front at all levels, mobilizing more than 133 billion VND in support, building the "For the Poor" Fund; mobilizing more than 390 billion VND and allocating more than 750 tons of goods and necessities to promptly support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has promoted its core role in mobilizing, gathering and arousing the strength of great national unity, organizing and launching a peak emulation campaign "30 days and nights of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province" creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, contributing to the whole province completing its goals ahead of schedule and plan. The whole province has more than 2,000 effective models, 100% of residential areas have established clubs, teams, and interest groups of culture, arts, and community sports, which are increasingly expanding in both scale and quality, becoming a useful and healthy playground, attracting a large number of people to participate...

Speaking at the Congress, the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee commended, acknowledged and congratulated the outstanding results and achievements of the Fatherland Front of the two provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan (formerly) and Thai Nguyen province (currently).

The comrades suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province should continue to thoroughly and deeply organize the dissemination, study and research of the speech of General Secretary To Lam at the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations, term 2025 - 2030, with the requirement of consistency in 3 guiding viewpoints, 6 key tasks and the formula "3 easy - 3 clear - 3 measurable".
