The First Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025 - 2030: Strength from solidarity and innovation

On the morning of November 12, the First Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in Thai Nguyen province, term 2025 - 2030, officially opened with the participation of 323 delegates. Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Ha Thi Nga attended and delivered a speech at the Congress.

At the opening session, the Congress heard reports on the results of the First Working Session; summarizing the period 2024 - 2025 and key tasks and directions for the period 2025 - 2030; synthesizing comments on the Documents of the National Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026 - 2031 term; the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Term X (amended) and the Documents of the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Dinh Quang Tuyen delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

In his opening speech, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Dinh Quang Tuyen emphasized: This Congress is an important political event after the reorganization of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces, demonstrating the solidarity of all classes of people, and is the result of serious preparation from the grassroots level.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the Congress summarized the previous term, built an action program for the new term, contributing to the successful implementation of socio -economic, defense - security goals according to the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province has coordinated with member agencies and organizations to mobilize the people, create social consensus, deploy many new models, effective methods, and have a widespread impact in community life. Emulation movements and social security programs, such as the "For the Poor" Fund and "Peak Month for the Poor", have mobilized more than 133 billion VND; supported over 390 billion VND and 750 tons of goods to help people overcome the damage caused by typhoon Yagi and natural disasters in other provinces.

The work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses was vigorously implemented, reaching 107% of the planned target; mobilizing people to donate more than 450,000m² of land, contributing 58,140 working days, repairing and renovating 19,272m of rural roads. Currently, the whole province has more than 2,000 effective community activity models, all residential areas have established cultural, artistic and sports clubs, creating healthy playgrounds, attracting a large number of people to participate.

The review report on activities presented by Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Vu Duy Hoang affirmed that the Fatherland Front agencies closely followed the Party's policies and the State's laws, innovated and were flexible in management, improved the quality of supervision and social criticism, contributed to building the great national unity bloc, and successfully achieved the socio-economic development goals.

Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga gave a speech at the Congress.

Attending and speaking at the Congress, Party Central Committee member, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga and Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong praised the outstanding results achieved by the provincial Fatherland Front; and emphasized: In the context of digital transformation, green growth and deep international integration, the Fatherland Front at all levels needs to continue to thoroughly grasp the viewpoint of "Taking people as the center, subject, goal and driving force of innovation", improve the quality of supervision, innovate emulation movements and effectively deploy the "Digital Front Portal" to receive people's petitions 24/7.

At the First Session, the consultative congress elected a Standing Committee of 10 comrades, of which Mr. Dinh Quang Tuyen continued to hold the position of Chairman. The congress also passed the Resolution for the 2025 - 2030 term with 10 target groups, 7 action programs, 3 projects, 2 key programs; agreed on 115 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee, Term I; consulted to elect 110 comrades and 16 delegates to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031.
