The Thuy Ung Horn Comb Traditional Craft Village Association was established in 2018. The association was established to gather and unite craft villages, craft village enterprises, economic organizations, artisans in craft villages together with local authorities to restore, preserve and develop craft villages; at the same time, carry out linkages and cooperation between economic organizations in production, business and services to enhance product value, cultural value of craft village products, expand markets and product consumption.

Currently, the Association has a total of 69 members. The organizational structure includes: 15-member Executive Committee, President, Vice President.

The Association brings together individuals, organizations, businesses, related service providers, import-export organizations and businesses, and handicraft associations to strengthen solidarity, cooperation, exchange information and experiences, disseminate knowledge, and build craft villages...

With the skillful hands and creativity of the craftsmen, the products of the horn comb craft village have diverse designs and styles, and high artistic value. Every year, members actively participate in the "Hanoi Handicraft Product Design Competition" organized by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, winning many high awards.

During the past term, the Association had 3 members honored to be awarded the title of Hanoi Artisan and 1 artisan of the craft village. In addition, the Association regularly connects with departments, branches of the city, provinces and cities across the country, creating conditions for horn comb craft village products to participate in fairs, exhibitions, promote and introduce products to expand and access domestic and international markets...

Along with that, the Association coordinates with specialized sectors to organize training courses to improve traditional skills for craftsmen and craft village members, contributing to improving the value of product designs, models and product value, increasing income for members, contributing to the socio-economic development in the locality...

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Thuy Ung Traditional Horn Comb Craft Village Association will continue to develop members to participate in and organize the Association; promote links with research institutes and universities, promote the application of science and technology in production, create new products of cultural and artistic value, and increase income for members.

Developing traditional occupations associated with craft village tourism (recognized by the Hanoi People's Committee in 2022), the Association proposes and recommends that all levels and sectors have policies and mechanisms to encourage and support the development of craft villages, build and promote product brands; honor and recognize artisan titles for skilled workers who are dedicated to their profession; promote trade cooperation, bring craft village products far and wide...

The Congress elected the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 19 members, and elected positions of the Thuy Ung Horn Comb Traditional Craft Village Association.

On this occasion, outstanding collectives and individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Hanoi People's Committee; and Certificates of Merit by the Thuong Tin Commune People's Committee.
