Regarding the preparations for the 14th National Congress, Deputy Head of the Standing Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, affirmed that the work has been completed on schedule and according to requirements, with many important new points.
Regarding the application of information technology in serving the Congress, the Central Party Office, in coordination with relevant agencies, has put into use a system for accessing information and documents to serve the Congress.
On January 10th, the Central Party Office also distributed 1,586 tablets to all official delegates of the Congress. It is expected that approximately 1,000 pages of documents per delegate will be distributed via the tablet system, replacing all paper documents.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha stated that an estimated 1.6 million pages of paper documents have been replaced by documents on tablets. This has resulted in significant savings in paper, ink, and human resources. "By this time, most delegates have already started using tablets and proactively studied the documents in advance," she emphasized.
The Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Central Party Committee also stated that the Congress also utilized software to synthesize the speeches of delegates during the Congress.
"Overall, a lot of software has been put into use during this Congress. The relevant agencies have operated and put it into use, which is proof of the spirit of reducing paperwork, saving costs, manpower, and time through the application of information technology," the comrade affirmed.
Regarding the Congress program, it is expected to be held over 6.5 days, saving 1.5 days compared to the previous term.
At the preparatory session, the Congress will observe a minute of silence in memory of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and other Central Committee members who passed away during the 13th National Congress term, to express the Congress's affection and gratitude for their immense contributions during the past term, as well as to the process of Party building and national development.
Regarding the ceremonial decorations, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha noted several new features, including a full-body statue of President Ho Chi Minh facing the Congress in the main hall, with the national flag on one side and the Party flag on the other.
In addition, the units also organized exhibitions of books, newspapers, and photographs at the central hall, focusing on comprehensively reflecting the process from Congress to Congress, and the outstanding achievements in all fields, from national defense, security, foreign affairs, Party building, and building the political system...
Before, during, and after the Congress, there were also many cultural and artistic activities serving the people. After the Congress concludes, there will be a special art program hosted by Hanoi City to celebrate the success of the Congress.
"The Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee has directly presided over the preliminary and final rehearsals, inspected the organizational work for the Congress many times, and given many important directives. It can be said that at this point, all preparations for organizing and serving the Congress are basically complete, ready for the successful organization of the 14th Party Congress," affirmed the Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Party Central Committee.
