Following and updating information about the 14th National Congress of the Party, Party members and people of all ethnic groups in Lang Son place their full trust and expectations in the decisions discussed and unanimously adopted by the Congress, believing that they will help the country develop, become stronger, and more prosperous.

Expressing his delight at the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thung, a respected figure in the Cua Bac area of Luong Van Tri ward (Lang Son province), noted that the Congress attracted the attention of the entire society because Vietnam is entering a new era that urgently needs breakthrough policies and concrete solutions to achieve the goal of becoming a developing country with modern industry and high middle income by 2030; and the vision of becoming a developed country with high income by 2045, a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, civilized, and happy socialist Vietnam.
The average GDP growth rate for the period 2026-2030 is projected to be 10% or higher per year. GDP per capita is expected to reach approximately US$8,500 per year by 2030…
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thung agreed with the 12 major orientations, 6 key tasks, and 3 strategic breakthroughs outlined in the report on documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam , presented by General Secretary To Lam. He particularly appreciated a strategic decision: the Congress identified science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as the central driving force of development.
Mr. Thung analyzed that, for a mountainous, border province like Lang Son, science and technology and digital transformation are the lifeline for the locality to effectively exploit scientific and technological achievements and available resources, not only to shorten the development gap but also to accelerate its progress.
In line with the Party and State's major policies and orientations on breakthroughs in national science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, as outlined in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in national science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, the 18th Provincial Party Congress of Lang Son province, for the 2025-2030 term, set the goal: By 2030, the proportion of the digital economy in the province's GRDP will exceed 30%. One of the three breakthroughs for the province's development is science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, building a startup ecosystem. The province is implementing decisive and comprehensive solutions to build digital infrastructure, digital government, digital economy, digital society, and digital human resources.

In reality, this direction has proven to be in line with the inevitable development trend of social life. The achievements of applying science, technology, and digital transformation are not only reflected in reports but are also evident in people's lives. The percentage of households installing home Wi-Fi is high. Not only young people but also many elderly people are proficient in using smart devices to read newspapers, access information about life, health, and business methods, which is very useful. E-commerce and online business activities are developing strongly in the area. Cashless transactions are quite common...
Pham Trong Nghia, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Van Nham commune, was particularly impressed with the country's achievements after 40 years of reform under the leadership of the Party and believed that continuous reform has made a significant contribution to the country's current strength and potential.
The reform process has transformed Van Nham commune from a purely agricultural area with difficult socio-economic conditions and low living standards to one that has undergone significant changes: infrastructure has been invested in, and rural roads have been progressively paved.
Agricultural production is shifting towards a market-oriented approach. The material and spiritual lives of the people are gradually improving. The average per capita income will reach 45 million VND/person by 2025.
Along with the people of the whole country, the ethnic minorities in Van Nham commune deeply trust in the leadership of the Party and the administration of the State, especially the major policies on agricultural development, farmers, and rural areas; the national target program for building new rural areas; social security policies, sustainable poverty reduction, and care for ethnic minorities and disadvantaged areas. Many policies and guidelines have been implemented, creating motivation for people to work and produce with peace of mind, contributing to maintaining political and social stability at the grassroots level.
Cadres, Party members, and the people of Van Nham commune expect and hope that the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress will quickly be put into practice, concretized into programs and action plans suitable to the reality of each region and locality, thereby creating a clear transformation in socio-economic infrastructure in mountainous communes, especially transportation infrastructure, infrastructure serving production, and digital transformation to help people access markets, services, and new knowledge...
Sharing his thoughts on the success of the Congress, Mr. Luong Hai Dang, Head of Bam village, Yen Binh commune, said that the spirit of innovation, focus, responsibility, and service to the people that the 14th Party Congress put forth, especially the affirmation of General Secretary To Lam in his closing speech that the satisfaction and happiness of the people is the measure of the performance of Party committees, organizations, and the entire political system, placing the well-being and happiness of the people at the center... has truly brought absolute trust of the people in the leadership of the Party.
