Acknowledging the outstanding efforts, high fighting spirit, and crucial contributions of the press in disseminating information about the Party congresses at all levels, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Trinh Van Quyet, pointed out that the press has created a positive, widespread, and correctly oriented political atmosphere.
The press also provided timely and accurate information, highlighting the spirit of unity, democracy, intelligence, and innovation in the Party congresses at all levels. Many agencies acted early, synchronously, and effectively, contributing to strengthening the people's trust.
The press also plays a crucial role in shaping public perception and increasing people's trust in the Party. People see the responsibility, intelligence, democracy, and meticulousness in the preparation of documents and personnel; they see the openness and determination to develop of the Party committees at all levels.
The press has resolutely fought against false and harmful information. In the complex context of cyberspace, the press plays a "three-legged stool" role: verifying, clarifying, and guiding public opinion, thereby contributing to maintaining political and ideological stability.

The working session between the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Trinh Van Quyet, and press agencies focused on the tasks of disseminating information and propaganda regarding the 14th Party Congress and the key areas of information and propaganda work in the coming period.

Emphasizing the need for the press to overcome its shortcomings in propaganda, and stating that these shortcomings "must not be repeated during the final stages," Mr. Trinh Van Quyet pointed out that the 14th Party Congress is a major milestone guiding the country towards the goals of 2030 and 2045.
Therefore, the press must focus on publicizing and highlighting the Party's vision, the country's achievements, the national aspirations, and the determination to innovate and rectify the Party. The press should not only report the news but also ignite faith, convey enthusiasm, and spread positive energy.
Help the public understand that the personnel selection process is thorough and in accordance with regulations.
The propaganda content must help the people understand that the personnel are being properly and systematically selected. The nominated individuals must truly be exemplary in terms of intellect, character, and prestige. We must prevent hostile forces from distorting, misrepresenting, or sowing doubt in the process. This is a key area of "struggle," and the press must take the lead.
The press must also grasp the situation quickly; make accurate predictions; handle information crises promptly; detect distorted narratives early; and resolutely refute them with sharp arguments and convincing evidence. The press must lead, not chase, social media.

Emphasizing that the period leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party is a "trial by fire" for the revolutionary Vietnamese press, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet requested that media agencies immediately switch to a high-intensity media coverage mode without delay. All media agencies must open special pages and sections, increase frequency, improve quality, and accelerate comprehensively.
All content must be absolutely aligned with the Party's direction, without error. Maintain the principles of accuracy, consistency, standards, and persuasiveness. No mistakes, however small, are allowed during this sensitive time. Proactively dominate the online space, transforming journalism into a leading source of information. Don't wait, don't react, don't evade. Attack, refute, explain, and persuade.
"All media outlets must be creative, innovate quickly, and invest seriously in communication technology. The 14th National Congress must be the 'congress of digital media.' The press must create distinctive, attractive, and widely disseminated products. Every journalist must ignite the flame of responsibility, courage, and honor. This is the time for the press to best demonstrate the qualities of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism," Mr. Trinh Van Quyet demanded.
