The first Heritage Light Avenue in Vietnam

The first Heritage Light Avenue in Vietnam is about to appear on the North bank of the Ma River, bringing a unique experience, where light becomes the language of culture and the avenue transforms into a “storyteller” through modern projection technologies such as 3D mapping, LED… Thanks to that, each cluster of works on the street is like a “living chapter” recreating the image of the brilliant Dong Son civilization.

Along the 3km long avenue, the symbols of the Lac bird, the Bronze drum, and the Dong Son flame are depicted throughout the light space, creating an emotional journey that takes viewers from the past to the present, from the heritage of our ancestors to today's prosperous era.

The avenue is divided into three stages of continuous light experience, starting with the warm light of dawn symbolizing the origin of Dong Son civilization from the dawn of history. At stage 2, the river of light is brilliant with seven rainbow colors, reflecting the image of Ma Giang, the source of culture, history and prosperity of Thanh land. At the last stage, thousands of interwoven LED lights create a sparkling purple-blue space, as if the whole universe is in harmony with the city where the past and the future meet in light, making viewers feel like they are walking in the "light cycle" of history itself.

The space of the Avenue of Light is imbued with the quintessence of Dong Son culture.

The Dong Son cultural heritage is also clearly shown in 14 light gates of the Bronze Drum - Lac Bird using moving hologram technology, creating the effect of flying birds and drums glowing rhythmically to the music; 4 light bridges of the Fairy Bird weaving light connecting the commercial streets, symbolizing the connection between the past - present - future. Along with that, 10 themed light clusters are arranged scattered throughout the avenue such as "Golden Sunlight Stream", "Light Tower", "Dreamy Bamboo Stream", "Giant Fairy Bird" ... connecting into a continuous narrative, creating a symphony between light - technology - heritage.

On the same axis of the avenue, the Light Park is a special highlight, continuing the Dong Son cultural story with a modern interactive art experience. Opening the journey "Upstream to find the light" - a large-scale interactive game, where each resident and visitor transforms into a "light warrior" to find and awaken the sacred fire.

The journey includes 4 exciting stages: Stage 1 - Lac Bird Picking Sunlight: Players follow the Lac Bird, holding a symbolic torch, collecting rays of light that are the remnants of the sacred fire that has been dormant over time. Stage 2 - Mystery of the Bronze Drum: The light collected in stage 1 blends with the power of the Bronze Drum, recreating the ritual of reviving the sacred fire. Stage 3 - Thousands of Light: Players resonate energy with everyone to awaken the great fire, creating a brilliant picture of light, symbolizing the connection and strength of the community. Stage 4 - Endless Light: Players become the inheritors and spread the ancient light, lighting up the Tower of Light Essence. On the tower, the flame stretches out to break the boundaries of time, symbolizing the transition from primitive civilization to the technological age. The journey ends, the light shines brightly in the park space - as a symbol of vitality, knowledge and aspiration to rise of the people of Thanh land.

The Avenue of Light and the Light Park are not only unique architectural works of art but also the pride of every Thanh people who have been able to admire the Dong Son cultural identity in a brilliant and modern way for thousands of years.
