Vietnam Sports Corps goes to Thailand to attend SEA Games

On the morning of December 6, more than 100 members of the Vietnamese sports delegation from Hanoi , Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City left for Thailand to compete in the 33rd SEA Games. In Hanoi, 81 members set off on the morning of December 7, including delegation officials, coaches and athletes from the Cycling, Canoeing, Swimming, Jet Ski, Sepak Takraw, Gymnastics teams... carrying great determination and expectations when entering the regional arena. Vietnamese athletes are very confident before SEA Games 33. Vietnam participates in the SEA Games with the determination to win 90-110 gold medals. Head of the delegation Nguyen Hong Minh emphasized that the whole delegation set off with the highest determination, carrying within them the will, enthusiasm and Vietnamese spirit to overcome their own limits, aiming for the highest achievements. "The Vietnamese sports delegation carries the will in their heads, the fire in their hearts, the strength from within, overcoming their own limits, demonstrating the Vietnamese spirit when competing, bringing glory to the Fatherland," said Head of the delegation Nguyen Hong Minh. Athletes check in at the airport. From Hanoi, the Vietnamese delegation traveled to Bangkok (Thailand) for about 2 hours flight. The Vietnamese sports delegation attending the 33rd SEA Games consists of 1,165 members, including 842 athletes, 189 coaches, and 19 experts, competing in 47/66 sports, with a total of 443/573 events.
