On the occasion of Vietnam hosting the momentous political event of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam , ambassadors from various countries sent congratulations and highly appreciated Vietnam's vision and new development orientations, expressing confidence that the Congress will open a new chapter with positive and historically significant changes.

Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Professor Bezdetko, affirmed that Vietnam entered the 14th Party Congress with the status of a nation "on the rise." According to the Ambassador, the current transformations are the result of efforts to shift from a "catching up" mindset to a "surpassing" mindset, based on a model of independent, self-reliant modernization that ensures national interests.

The ambassador emphasized that the adoption of strategic documents on science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation at the Congress will create a solid foundation for Vietnam to transform its growth model, address challenges in megacities, and improve the quality of life for its people.

Sharing the same perspective on Vietnam's shift in its growth model, Lao Ambassador Khamphao Ernthavanh highly appreciated the strategic thinking in the draft document of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, which identifies science and technology and national digital transformation as the main driving forces.

The ambassador stated that this is an inevitable shift from growth based on capital and cheap labor to a knowledge-based economy , reflecting Vietnam's proactive adaptation to a volatile global context.

In particular, Lao Ambassador Khamphao Ernthavanh was impressed with the view that the private sector is a crucial driving force, demonstrating an open-minded and practical approach to perfecting the socialist-oriented market economy, which helps to effectively mobilize social resources.

Ambassador Khamphao Ernthavanh emphasized the significant coincidence of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 12th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party taking place at the same time, reflecting the special solidarity and shared aspirations of the two nations on the path to socialism.

Cuban Ambassador Rogelio Polanco Fuentes stated that the Cuban people trust and expect Vietnam to continue affirming its development path: building a people-centered society, developing the country in accordance with socialist principles, in harmony with the environment, and actively integrating into the international community.

The Cuban people also believe that Vietnam will continue to build an economy that generates more and more wealth for the nation, brings higher and fairer social welfare to its people, and promotes the comprehensive and sustainable development of the country.

The Cuban ambassador emphasized that the achievements Vietnam has made in recent years are clear evidence that, under the leadership of the Communist Party, with the spirit of solidarity, unwavering will, and unity of the people, Vietnam is fully capable of building a developed, stable, and progressive society.

Ambassador Juan Carlos Fernandes Juárez of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Vietnam assessed that Vietnam has achieved significant results over the years, particularly in the process of industrialization, economic growth, and the social benefits enjoyed by a large number of Vietnamese people.

He argued that these achievements are proof of the correct policies of the Vietnamese Party and Government in putting the people at the center, based on industrialization and the creative application of Ho Chi Minh's ideology.

The Venezuelan diplomat also praised Vietnam as a role model not only for Venezuela but also for many developing countries.

Referring to the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Ambassador Juan Carlos Fernández Juárez stated that this is an opportunity to continue the policies that have been effectively implemented in recent years, in the context of Vietnam becoming an increasingly strong player in Southeast Asia and playing an increasingly prominent role on the international stage, including in Latin America.

The ambassador stated that Venezuela is following the 14th National Congress with great interest and expectations, viewing it as an opportunity for Vietnam to continue maintaining and developing policies that have brought success in recent years. He also assessed the rigorous and consistent policy-making of the Communist Party of Vietnam as a key factor in helping Vietnam not only develop domestically but also enhance its role in the region and the world.

Regarding bilateral relations, the Ambassador emphasized that for Venezuela, Vietnam is not only a partner but also a sincere and trustworthy friend; Vietnam is also an example of striving to overcome difficulties, aiming for development and bringing practical benefits to its people.

As Head of the Diplomatic Corps and having attended five Party Congresses, Palestinian Ambassador Saadi Salama shared his deep belief that, despite the many international challenges, Vietnam will always find the right path to developing a strong and prosperous nation.

The Ambassadors expressed confidence that the decisions made at the Congress would provide impetus for Vietnam to continue its inspiring development story, making positive contributions to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world.
