Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet received the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association in Bulgaria

Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet received the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association in Bulgaria.

On May 13, at the Embassy headquarters, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet received the Executive Committee of the Association of Vietnamese People in Bulgaria.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Bulgaria, briefly presented the history of the formation of the Vietnamese community in Bulgaria and the activities of the Vietnamese Association in Bulgaria from 2006 to present.

Thanking the Embassy for its support and attention to the Association's activities, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan expressed his wish to continue receiving the Embassy's attention and facilitation in community activities.

Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet highly appreciated the solidarity and spirit of the Vietnamese community in Bulgaria towards their homeland and country, especially the donation activities to support compatriots in difficulty in the country and neighboring countries.

Although the Vietnamese community in Bulgaria is not large in number, it has organized many practical activities, contributing to strengthening the understanding and sympathy of the Bulgarian people towards the country and people of Vietnam.

On this occasion, the Ambassador and the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Association discussed a number of specific directions to continue strengthening community cohesion and preserving Vietnamese cultural identity for the young generation of Vietnamese people in Bulgaria.

Previously, on May 8, at the Embassy headquarters, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet received the Executive Committee of the Bulgaria-Vietnam Friendship Association.

President of the Bulgaria-Vietnam Friendship Association Simeon Dimchev and members of the Friendship Association's Executive Committee discussed the history of the Association's establishment and activities since 1993, thereby expressing the sincere and loyal feelings of the Association's members towards the country and people of Vietnam; affirming that they will continue to make efforts to contribute to promoting relations between the two countries in the coming time.

In the friendly atmosphere of the meeting, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet highly appreciated the contributions of the Bulgaria-Vietnam Friendship Association to the development of bilateral relations and strengthening the relationship between the people of the two countries.

The Ambassador affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in Bulgaria always supports and accompanies the Association, first of all in the activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Bulgaria diplomatic relations (1950-2025).
