Weaving is a craft containing the typical culture of the M'Nong ethnic group, but now there are not many people following the profession. Faced with that situation, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province recently issued Document No. 927 - People's Committee - KGVX on the protection and promotion of local intangible heritage values.
Foreign tourists are delighted when M'Nong weavers introduce and guide directly the stages of brocade weaving.
Weaving not only shows the beauty of M'Nong people's culture but also a potential profession contributing to the development of local tourism. However, machine-woven products will not be as beautiful and sophisticated as traditional hand-woven methods.

At the same time, find outlets for brocade products at tourist sites and destinations and propose a plan to organize festivals with brocade weaving activities.
The People's Committees of districts and cities direct the divisions and units to review, make a list and build a profile of brocade weavers to ensure the criteria specified in Decree No. June 62, 2014 issued by the Government. After completing the dossier, the district or city shall report it to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and request the President to confer the title of people's artisan, elite artisan in the field of intangible cultural heritage according to the provisions of law. laws. The locality shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant units in, organizing a series of festival and festival activities, restoring the landscape at tourist sites related to brocade weaving activities to develop tourism.
In the coming time, the province will develop a project to develop community tourism in the area. Thereby proposing basic solutions on mechanisms, policies, capital, techniques, support to find outputs in the market for typical local products, including brocade weaving, etc. These policies are aimed at preserving and develop the traditional weaving of the M'Nong people as well as other typical cultural features of the land and people of Dak Nong.
