(Dong Nai) - Implementing the plan to organize the Art Program and fireworks display on New Year's Eve of the Year of the Horse 2026 according to Plan No. 18/KH-UBND of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, the authorities have deployed a plan to prohibit and restrict vehicle traffic in the Hoa An bridge area to ensure security and safety.

Accordingly, from 6:00 AM on February 16th (29th of the Lunar New Year), vehicles were prohibited from entering the access roads leading to the fireworks display area. By 11:00 PM the same day, authorities moved the checkpoints to the section connecting National Highway 1K to Hoa An Bridge and completely prohibited all vehicles from using the bridge.

In addition, from 9 PM onwards, authorities blocked vehicles from entering Nguyen Van Tri Street; and simultaneously prohibited cars from entering Huynh Van Nghe Street to reduce traffic congestion in the city center and ensure a safe corridor for the fireworks display.

Traffic police teams are stationed at checkpoints throughout the day, proactively diverting traffic and guiding people to alternative routes. With the coordination of local police and militia forces, the Hoa An bridge area and surrounding roads are tightly controlled.

On the night of the 29th of Tet (Lunar New Year's Eve), a large number of vehicles and people gathered at the fireworks display site. However, thanks to the early implementation of traffic control measures and the rational organization of traffic, the situation remained basically stable, with no prolonged traffic jams; people strictly followed the instructions of the functional forces at the checkpoints.

Authorities advise people to strictly follow instructions at checkpoints and proactively choose suitable routes to ensure safe and smooth traffic on New Year's Eve.
