Ensure nutrition and strengthen physical strength for students for comprehensive development

On November 11, in Tuyen Quang, the Ministry of Education and Training organized a training course and a seminar to guide the replication of the school meal model to ensure proper nutrition, combined with increased physical activity for children and students in the provinces of the Northern midland and mountainous region.

Attending the training session were leaders of the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs (Ministry of Education and Training); experts from the National Institute of Nutrition ( Ministry of Health ); leaders and representatives of the Department of Education and Training of the provinces: Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Lao Cai and Phu Tho and delegates who are managers, teachers and medical staff of schools.

Training content: Instructions on building school meal menus that ensure nutrition and food safety; organizing meals combined with physical activities for students; propaganda work, nutrition education and implementation of policies to support school nutrition.

The training course is an opportunity for staff, teachers and school health workers in the Northern midland and mountainous region to update their knowledge, share experiences and replicate the model of scientific, safe and effective school meals. Thereby contributing to ensuring proper nutrition and strengthening physical strength for students to develop comprehensively, contributing to improving the quality of education and school health care.
