The conference was broadcast live on radio and television so that officials, Party members, and people from all walks of life could follow it. The conference aimed to thoroughly understand the key and core contents of the Party's 14th National Congress documents, and was held in person at the Dien Hong Hall (National Assembly Building, Hanoi ) and connected online to locations nationwide. The conference lasted one day, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

In accordance with Directive 01-CT/TW dated January 23, 2026, of the Politburo of the 14th Party Congress on studying, understanding, disseminating, and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party; Plan 01-KH/BTGDVTW dated January 26, 2026, of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department on organizing a national conference to study, understand, and implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; and Plan 33-KH/ĐUB dated February 3, 2026, of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on organizing a national conference to study, understand, and implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the following details apply:
The meeting point is at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, 54 Hai Ba Trung Street, Hanoi.
At the Ministry of Industry and Trade's headquarters, the Standing Committee of the Ministry's Party Committee chaired the meeting. The meeting was attended by members of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Ministry's Party Committee; leaders, Party committee members, and all Party members of Party organizations within the agencies and units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In addition, the meeting was also held at various locations within the Party committees and grassroots Party branches under the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Party Committee.

The topics covered include: Some new, core issues and experiences of 40 years of innovation in the Party's 14th Congress Document; Action program to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party; Report summarizing Party building work during the 13th Congress term and summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011-2025), directions, tasks, and solutions for Party building work and implementation of the Party Charter during the 14th Congress term; Assessment of 5 years of implementing the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030 and the socio-economic development plan 2026-2030.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade headquarters at 655 Pham Van Dong Street, Nghia Do, Hanoi, includes four units: the Industry and Trade Newspaper, the Industry and Trade Magazine, the Industry and Trade Publishing House, and the Center for Industrial and Trade Information.
Along with that are the following topics: Promoting the strength of national unity in the cause of national construction, development and defense in the new era; New thinking and understanding on national defense and defense of the Fatherland from the 14th Party Congress; New thinking and understanding on national security from the 14th Party Congress; Developing foreign relations in the new era commensurate with the historical, cultural stature and position of the country; Outline summarizing 100 years of the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution (1930-2030), orientation and leadership for national development in the next 100 years (2030-2130) and summarizing 40 years of implementing the Platform for building the country during the transitional period to socialism; Innovating inspection and supervision work to contribute to strengthening discipline and order to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation in the spirit of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress.
