Comrades: Thai Thanh Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies; Do Tien Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies chaired the conference.
Attending the conference were members of the Party Committee Standing Committee; representatives of Party committees of grassroots Party organizations and collectives and individuals who were awarded for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
Raising awareness and responsibility in learning and following Uncle Ho
The Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies has 21 subordinate Party grassroots organizations (CBOs), including 7 Party Committees and 14 Party cells with 558 Party members. On the basis of inheriting from the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of the Party agencies has focused on leading and directing the subordinate CBOs to seriously and effectively implement the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. The content of studying and following Uncle Ho is associated with the implementation of the Central Resolution 4 (term XI, term XII), Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the Central Executive Committee of the 13th Party Congress, regulations on exemplary responsibility, implementation of revolutionary ethical standards and patriotic emulation movements, etc.
The Party Committee Standing Committee has directed the subordinate Party organizations to incorporate the content of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle into monthly Party cell activities and quarterly thematic activities; to link the implementation of Directive No. 05 with leadership and direction in resolving outstanding and urgent issues at the grassroots level... Thereby, promoting the role and responsibility of each organization and individual in performing tasks.
In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee identified 4 breakthrough contents and organized their implementation to create clear changes in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. In addition, the Party Committees at all levels also proposed solutions to implement breakthroughs associated with the political tasks of the agencies and units.
Every year, 100% of cadres and party members in the entire Party Committee develop plans and register their commitments to follow Uncle Ho with specific actions, in accordance with the assigned tasks. In particular, the registration and commitments of comrades at the Party Committee level, leaders of agencies and units are made public on the internal network for cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers to monitor.
The results of implementing registered work content are one of the criteria for evaluating and classifying Party organizations, Party members, cadres, civil servants and public employees annually.
Party committees, agencies and units have launched many emulation movements to study and follow Uncle Ho; some units have creative and effective ways of doing things. Accordingly, Gia Lai Newspaper maintains special pages and columns "Studying and following Uncle Ho", "Party building", "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation" to promote good people, good deeds, typical examples of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The Provincial Youth Union with the campaign "Every day a good news, every week a beautiful story", "Youth volunteer movement", "Creative youth movement", "Youth volunteer movement to protect the Fatherland". The Provincial Women's Union with models such as: "Rice savings jar", "Ethnic minority women saving 5-10 million VND" club, "Confident, self-respecting, loyal, and responsible women" club, "Women with compassion"...
The province has over 900 collectives and individuals who have been outstanding in studying and following Uncle Ho and have been commended and rewarded by all levels and sectors; including many cadres and party members of the provincial Party Committees and agencies. The Party Committee Standing Committee has strengthened the direction of Party committees and party cells at all levels to include the content of studying and following Uncle Ho in the annual inspection and supervision programs and plans to evaluate the implementation results of Party organizations and party members.
During the 2016-2020 period, the Party Committee Standing Committee inspected and supervised 86 Party organizations and 49 Party members. From 2021 to 2025, the Party Committee Standing Committee inspected 18 Party committees, Party organizations, and 12 Party members; and supervised 16 Party committees, Party organizations, and 16 Party members.
The results show that the Party organizations basically implemented Directive No. 05 well in conjunction with Conclusion No. 01, Central Resolution 4 (term XI, XII), Conclusion No. 21 and regulations on setting examples, contributing to the implementation and widespread dissemination of learning and following Uncle Ho.
Make it concrete with practical actions
Speaking at the conference on propaganda work for the implementation of Directive No. 05, Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Newspaper Huynh Kien said: Gia Lai Newspaper always closely follows reality, develops plans and effectively implements the function of informing and propagating the content of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The newspaper identifies this as a consistent and continuous propaganda topic and one of the important political tasks of the agency. The newspaper has opened columns and allocated a certain amount of space to convey the content of studying and following Uncle Ho's example.
From 2016 to present, nearly 3,600 news, articles, and reports on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style have been published in Gia Lai Newspaper publications and on the Newspaper's social networking platforms, contributing to deeply spreading Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style in social life.
To improve the effectiveness of propaganda work in the coming time, the Party Secretary of Gia Lai Newspaper emphasized: The Newspaper continues to proactively develop and implement a comprehensive propaganda plan on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Based on reality, choose the right time to promote peak propaganda, build in-depth analysis topics, clearly explain practical issues, creative ways of doing things, and at the same time point out limitations and shortcomings in the implementation process.
In addition, continue to promote the spirit of staying close to the grassroots, sectors, fields, and localities of the team of reporters and editors to promptly grasp and reflect information in a profound and practical manner, contributing to effectively spreading Directive No. 05 into life.
To bring studying and following Uncle Ho's example into practice in life and in carrying out its functions and tasks, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy has actively innovated its propaganda methods. Specifically, the unit organized seminars, participated in competitions to learn about Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style; launched patriotic emulation movements; integrated the content of studying Uncle Ho into thematic activities at Party cell meetings.
Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Provincial People's Procuracy Le Thi Thu Ha said: The agency's information page regularly posts news and articles about good people, good deeds, good models, and effective ways of studying and following Uncle Ho in conjunction with the patriotic emulation movement and the work of building a team of cadres and prosecutors according to the motto "Firm in politics, good in profession, proficient in law, impartial and courageous, disciplined and responsible".
Through practical activities, the awareness of cadres and party members has been constantly improved; making learning and following Uncle Ho concrete and effective, contributing to improving management, direction and operation capacity. The innovation in thinking and working methods has inspired many practical initiatives and solutions from cadres and party members, many of which have been recognized and effectively applied in practice. Thanks to that, every year, the rate of cadres and party members who are assessed to have completed their tasks well or better reaches 100%.
Deeply imbued with Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, over the years, Mr. Pham Van Nam - Head of the Association Building Committee (Provincial Veterans Association) has always determined that studying and following Uncle Ho is a constant task in his work and training.
“With a high sense of responsibility, I advise the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Veterans Association in planning, perfecting staff, and building a strong Association. Many practical solutions have been proposed and implemented such as: improving the quality of branch activities, replicating the model of “Light and security bell”, developing members, and training key staff” - Mr. Nam shared.
Concluding the conference, on behalf of the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Central Committees; at the same time, acknowledged, congratulated and commended the achievements of outstanding collectives and individuals in studying and following Uncle Ho in the period of 2016-2025.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies suggested: In the current context, each cadre and party member needs to concretize the study and follow of Uncle Ho with a high sense of responsibility, work with all their heart, and complete all assigned tasks. Promote the sense of responsibility to thoroughly handle the remaining problems and obstacles in the agency and unit, avoiding the situation of avoiding and shirking responsibility.
According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies, studying and following Uncle Ho needs to continue to be implemented more widely, practically and effectively. It is necessary to focus on discovering, nurturing and replicating typical and advanced collectives and individuals to commend right from the grassroots to create a widespread influence throughout society.
