Over the past years, the Party Committee of Liem Can Commune (Thanh Liem) has always focused on leading and directing the effective implementation of political and ideological education. Thereby, preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle among cadres and party members, creating trust and consensus among cadres, party members, and people in carrying out the task of building advanced new rural areas (NTM) in the locality.
The Party Committee of Liem Can commune has 409 party members operating in 11 party cells. Determining that political and ideologicaleducation for cadres and party members is an important and decisive step in the work of building a clean and strong party organization, the Party Committee of the commune directs the dissemination, deployment and strict implementation of directives and resolutions of the Party and higher levels to all cadres, party members and people of all walks of life. Continue to propagate for cadres and party members to actively study Directive No. 05-CT/TW, dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle, the whole-term and annual topics associated with Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (term XII), Conclusion 21 of the 13th Central Committee on strengthening the building and rectification of the Party and the political system. Implement Directive No. 02-CT/HU, dated October 5, 2020 of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on strengthening discipline, order, and improving responsibility in performing public duties of cadres, party members, civil servants, and public employees in agencies and units.
Comrade Nguyen Van Toan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Liem Can Commune, said: The Party Committee of the Commune has concretized the directives, resolutions, and directions of the higher levels by issuing annual and monthly resolutions on strengthening the leadership and direction of the Party Committees on political and ideological work in the new situation. Thereby, contributing to raising the awareness of the Party Committees at all levels about the particularly important role of political and ideological education in Party building work; innovating the content and methods of thoroughly grasping the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's policies and laws to ensure brevity, appeal, effectiveness, easy to remember, easy to understand, easy to do, and practical application of the contents of directives and resolutions in life.
In addition, the Commune Party Committee focused on leading and directing the Party cells under the Party Committee to concretize the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through patriotic emulation movements, specific actions in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, site clearance, land donation, fence and wall relocation; contributing to the construction of village cultural houses... Extensive political and ideological activities on the work "Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam"; "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong... were also seriously implemented by the Commune Party Committee.
From 2022 to present, the entire Party Committee has extensively deployed the thematic political activity "Self-reflection, self-correction", built regulations on self-criticism and criticism, overcome the situation of being considerate, avoiding, and afraid of conflicts; the model of "4 good Party cells" has been deployed synchronously from the commune to the grassroots level; creating unity in awareness, will and action in the entire political and social system. At the same time, effectively implement Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018 of the Politburo on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against wrong and hostile views in the new situation. Strictly implement instructions and regulations on protecting the Party, effectively resolve pressing issues in the locality. Directly focus on resolving conflicts and difficulties among the people right at the grassroots level. Do not let complicated and sensitive points in ideological work occur.
It can be said that, thanks to focusing on doing a good job of political and ideological work among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, Liem Can has created a high consensus in carrying out political tasks, especially in building advanced new-style rural communes. Self-assessment according to the Set of Criteria for New-style Rural Communes in Ha Nam province for the period 2021-2025, up to now, the commune has achieved 17/19 criteria, 54/57 targets; for the Set of Criteria for Advanced New-style Rural Communes, the commune has achieved 14/19 criteria and 66/75 targets. Currently, the Steering Committee for New-style Rural Construction of the commune is directing the branches to complete the evidence documents for the achieved criteria, focusing on simultaneous implementation and organizing the completion of unachieved targets in the third quarter of 2024 to propose to superiors to recognize the commune as meeting advanced new-style rural standards in early November 2024.
In the coming time, the Party Committee of Liem Can commune will continue to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of political and ideological education, ethics and lifestyle for cadres and party members, considering this an extremely important and regular task of the Party Committee and the entire political system, of each cadre and party member. At the same time, promote the vanguard and exemplary role of cadres and party members in implementing the policies, guidelines, laws of the Party and State as well as in performing their duties and tasks; continue to tighten discipline and administrative discipline, improve public ethics among cadres, civil servants and public employees, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation; promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements, making an important contribution to maintaining political stability, developing the economy, culture and society, building a clean and strong political system; Enhance combativeness and effectiveness in ideological work, strengthen people's confidence, promote the successful implementation of political tasks, create a solid foundation for Liem Can commune to fulfill socio-economic development targets and tasks; complete the construction of an advanced new-style rural commune in 2024.
