With the spirit of solidarity, promoting democracy, and high political responsibility, the Lai Chau Provincial Military Party Committee has focused on comprehensively leading and directing the provincial armed forces to successfully complete the military and defense tasks and Party building work in 2025. Timely advising on effective handling of situations related to political security, social order and safety; directing regional defense drills for the Border Guard Command according to plan, achieving good results, ensuring absolute safety; organizing serious, strict, innovative training, improving quality; proactively preparing forces and means to participate in preventing, combating, overcoming consequences of natural disasters, rescue, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Van Xuan, Deputy Commander of Military Region 2, requested the Lai Chau Provincial Military Party Committee to continue to focus on leadership, building political mettle for all officers, soldiers, and provincial armed forces to have absolute confidence in the Party's leadership; coordinate with forces to firmly grasp, evaluate, forecast and manage the area well, especially the border line, promptly advise on effective handling of situations related to political security and social order and safety right from the grassroots level, not to be passive or surprised.

At the same time, innovate, be flexible, and creative in thinking, awareness, thinking, working, and leadership to improve the quality of training and combat readiness of the provincial armed forces. Promote the role of the Regional Defense Commands and Border Guard Commands in military, defense, and border work in the assigned areas, especially in coordinating with the Party Committees and authorities of communes and wards to guide and direct the Commune Military Commands to carry out local military and defense tasks.
