Party members take the lead in learning digital skills.

This was the content of a thematic activity organized by the Party Committee of Cat Tien commune (Lam Dong province). The Party Committee Office Party Branch was selected as the pilot unit to implement the activity on January 23rd, serving as a basis for implementation in 100% of the Party branches under the Party Committee in the near future.

Comrade Ho Quoc Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Cat Tien commune, delivered a speech at the thematic meeting.

Comrade Ho Quoc Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Cat Tien commune, said: “Party members are taking the lead in learning digital skills; in particular, focusing on improving skills in using the Electronic Party Member Handbook is a very practical topic with important significance in the context of the entire Party, people, and army accelerating digital transformation, building a digital government, digital economy , and digital society, linked to the requirement of improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and the quality of Party members in the new situation.

"Improving digital skills among Party members is of particular importance in administrative reform, streamlining procedures for citizens, disseminating Party guidelines and State policies and laws, as well as in the management, operation, and socio-economic development of localities."

The Party Committee Office Party Branch and other Party branches participated in the thematic meeting to learn and draw lessons.

At the thematic meeting, the Party Committee Office Party Branch and other participating Party branches studied and shared experiences. Party members focused on discussing and clarifying the current state of digital skills among Party members; the difficulties and limitations; practical solutions for each Party member to proactively learn and improve their digital skills; and proposing effective models and approaches suitable to the actual conditions of Cat Tien commune.

The thematic activities aim to ensure that every Party member, especially key officials and young cadres, clearly understands that learning digital skills is a regular and continuous task.

According to the assessment, with a spirit of responsibility, democracy, and frankness, the thematic discussion sessions have basically achieved the set objectives, contributing to improving the quality of Party members and meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new period; at the same time, the skills, procedures, and methods of organizing a thematic discussion session of the Party branch have also been improved.

Following the guidance of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the content of the thematic discussion sessions was selected to align with the requirements of the Central and provincial leadership and guidance documents on digital transformation, including:

(1) Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation;

(2) Plan No. 08-KH/TU, dated August 29, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the action plan to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science , technology, innovation and national digital transformation;

(3) Plan 01-KH/BCĐTW, dated March 21, 2025, of the Central Steering Committee on the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation on the implementation of the "Digital Literacy Movement";

(4) Plan No. 13-KH/TU, dated September 15, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the implementation of the "Popular Education Movement" in Lam Dong province.
