Director Giang Thanh said that Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy is a picky person when "considering" any project, especially with web dramas, which is a genre she has never tried before. Therefore, convincing the female artist to participate is a big challenge. Giang Thanh admitted that if the film is not convincing enough, the absence of Hanh Thuy will reduce the color that the crew had oriented from the beginning.

Ba Bich is a film inspired by the problem of human trafficking, a painful topic in today's society. The work is set in a working-class neighborhood, with low education, a life of deprivation and many bad habits. It is the mentality of being easily seduced by the invitation of "easy work, high salary" that has caused a series of mysterious disappearances here, mainly of young people aged 15 - 18 years old. Not only exploiting the crime - social element, the work also builds the character Ba Bich (played by Tang Quynh Nhu) as a female fighter with many hidden secrets, rich in humanity and strong feminist spirit. Director Jiang Qing: Ba Bi is a project to challenge myself
Talking about her "brainchild", director Giang Thanh shared that she has tried many genres such as romance, family... but action is the film genre that she has devoted the most effort to. Ba Bich is also a project for her to challenge herself. "The most difficult thing about making an action film is to create eye-catching fighting scenes while maintaining the psychological depth of the characters. A beautiful action film is not enough, it needs emotions and a story," she said.
On the other hand, action movie scripts are more complex than many other genres because they cannot rely too much on dialogue. "Many scenes take place during fighting, without dialogue, and if not done properly, they will become dry. Combining the character's psychology into each movement is a big challenge," director Giang Thanh shared.
According to director Giang Thanh, action movies are a test of his abilities throughout his journey in filmmaking.

In the context of online movies gradually losing their appeal and choosing "view-attracting" faces becoming a challenge, Ba Bich boldly uses many young actors who are not too prominent. Director Giang Thanh explained: "My point of view is to choose actors who are suitable for the role rather than choosing famous people. Filmmaking is both an art and an economic problem. A stable number of viewers is needed, but quality must be put first. Only when the actors are suitable will the film be good." The female director also hopes that the combination of young actors and veteran faces such as Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy, Long Dep Trai... will create opportunities for actors to learn and improve their skills.
Speaking more about the project, Mr. Quoc Bao - the producer's representative - said that Ba Bich was made with the goal of artistic orientation, not putting too much pressure on viewership. The film consists of 3 episodes, with a budget of more than 500 million VND per episode. "Currently, the crew is also ready to 'risk' making a movie, just waiting for positive signals from Ba Bich ", he added.
