Fire extinguished at home appliances warehouse

At 6:00 p.m. on December 2, a fire broke out at Thanh Binh Household Electrical Appliances Production and Trading Company Limited, located in Thuy Trang village, Yen My commune, Hung Yen province.

According to some witnesses at the scene, the black smoke and large fire from the warehouse caused panic among many people. From afar, one could see the black smoke column dozens of meters high.

Immediately afterwards, fire trucks and the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force ( Hung Yen Provincial Police) were mobilized to the scene to put out the fire.

The leader of Yen My Commune People's Committee said that this is a warehouse storing some household electrical appliances. The warehouse is about 300 square meters wide, made of steel frame. By about 7 p.m. the same day, the fire was extinguished. According to initial reports, the fire did not cause any human casualties.

Authorities are assessing property damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
