Phật Tích Pagoda, a thousand-year-old ancient temple, has the name Phúc Vạn Tư, meaning "praying for all blessings to come to everyone." It houses the oldest stone statue of Amitabha Buddha in Vietnam. This is a national treasure, considered a benchmark of art from the Lý Dynasty (1057).
While Phật Tích Pagoda is a brilliant symbol of the Lý Dynasty (11th century), Bút Tháp Pagoda (Ninh Hiệp, Bắc Ninh ) represents the pinnacle of architecture and sculpture from the Lê Trung Hưng period (17th century). It is one of the few ancient pagodas in Vietnam that has preserved its wooden framework and system of statues from over 300 years ago quite intact.
This place houses the masterpiece "Thousand-Handed, Thousand-Eyed Avalokiteshvara". This is the largest and most beautiful wooden statue of Avalokiteshvara in Vietnam, recognized as a National Treasure.
