When the floodwaters suddenly poured down, the soldiers' footsteps were submerged in the muddy water. They helped each old person and each child cross the flooded area, bringing people to safety without waiting for a call. On the fields still covered with alluvium, images of soldiers and people hurriedly harvesting each early-ripening rice field emerged, preserving the entire work of a season. During the days when the Covid-19 epidemic overshadowed the city, thousands of officers and soldiers of Military Region 7 became special frontline forces: guarding residential areas, transporting necessities, setting up field hospitals, and watching every breath of the people during the period of social distancing...






Many meaningful activities
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Military Region 7 (December 10, 1945 - December 10, 2025), Military Region 7 organized a 3-day trip to the source in Duc Hue commune, Tay Ninh province. In the series of activities to the source, Military Region 7 handed over 69 "Adjacent residential area" houses and 5 "Military-civilian affection" houses, presented 1,200 gifts at the "Zero-VND Market", examined, distributed medicine, and presented gifts to 400 people in difficult circumstances, presented 200 bicycles to students overcoming difficulties, and started construction of 4 specialized classrooms worth 2 billion VND and 1 mini football field worth 400 million VND. The Military Region also organized working delegations to visit and present gifts to 3 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and 38 policy families. In addition, Military Region 7 organized a screening of the film Red Rain; sports and art exchange programs to serve the people.
In recent years, implementing the national morality and tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude", the Armed Forces of Military Region 7 have organized many meaningful and effective activities, creating a strong spread throughout the army and the whole country.
