Investing more than 100 billion VND to expand An Thuong Tourist Area

Accordingly, the An Thuong Tourist Area project - phase 2 (My An ward, Ngu Hanh Son district) is invested by the Da Nang Management Board of Investment and Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works.

The project will be implemented in the period of 2024 - 2027, in which 2024 - 2025 is the investment preparation period and 2025 - 2027 is the implementation period of the main items. The project is invested synchronously in technical infrastructure and landscape, ensuring coherent connection with phase 1 - the area that has been put into use since April 2022.

This phase 2 project will build a central square combined with sports and physical training, including the following items: outdoor stage, relaxation platform, water music floor, trees, exercise equipment and lighting system, decorative lights.

Along with that, invest in renovating sidewalks and trees along key routes such as Chau Thi Vinh Te, Hoang Ke Viem, Ngo Thi Si, Mai Thuc Lan, An Thuong 6, 9...

Also in phase 2, the city will expand An Thuong 5, 7, 8 roads from 3.5m to 5.5m; An Thuong 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 roads will also be invested in paving the roadbed, upgrading sidewalks, trees, lighting, decorative electricity, communications, water collection ditch systems and auxiliary collection pits.

The entire neighborhood will be installed with technical lines for security camera systems and public wifi, serving the need for connection and ensuring security and order.

In addition, the city also invested in signs to identify the walking street brand, creating a unique identity for An Thuong Tourist Street; the low-voltage power system will be buried underground on branch roads...

The An Thuong Tourist Area Phase 2 project is not simply an infrastructure project, but also a long-term strategy to develop the night-time economy, expanding the experience space for residents and tourists. When completed, this place will organize cultural activities, entertainment, shopping day and night for tourists...
