At the reception, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam wishes to develop the semiconductor industry in the spirit of "taking shortcuts" to "better off the beaten track".

It is proposed that Amkor Technology Group continue to cooperate and support Vietnam in developing the semiconductor industry, especially in providing advice on building mechanisms and policies, transferring technology, training human resources, improving management capacity, participating in infrastructure investment, building training facilities, incubating, researching and developing, designing, testing semiconductor products, etc.
