Long Coc mountainous commune (Phu Tho province) was established on the basis of merging Tam Thanh, Vinh Tien and Long Coc communes. The commune is located in the northwest of the province, about 125 km from the center of Hanoi city and about 70 km from the center of Phu Tho province.

This distance is suitable for short or weekend trips from major cities, especially Hanoi, where there is an abundant source of domestic tourists . The ability to travel easily by motorbike or private car from Hanoi increases the attractiveness of Long Coc as a resort destination, exploring close nature.

With the advantage of natural terrain, Long Coc is famous for hundreds of green, wide, connected tea hills based on natural terrain, compared by photographers to a "fairyland" every early morning, a beautiful natural landscape that cannot be found anywhere else.

This tea hill ecosystem attracts more than 4,000 visitors to visit and experience each year. The commune currently has 6 homestays, 1 Tourism Service Cooperative under construction and a number of Cooperatives, cooperative groups, and production facilities with 3-4 star OCOP products, bringing stable income to the people.

Long Coc commune has over 90% of the population being Muong ethnic people. The people here still preserve and maintain many traditional cultural identities from festivals, lifestyles, housing, cuisine to unique intangible cultural values. In recent years, Long Coc has become a new tourist destination of Phu Tho province, attracting domestic and international photographers and tourists.

In order to continue promoting its tourism strengths, Long Coc commune recently organized a consultation workshop on the Project "Promoting internal resources, promoting investment attraction for economic development associated with green tourism in the area for the period 2025 - 2030".
