(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the occasion of the 38th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hai Phong City Journalists Association (March 13, 1986 - March 13, 2024), on the morning of March 8, the Hai Phong Journalists Association held a seminar on " Digital transformation to improve the quality of propaganda on political activities and socio-economic development of Hai Phong city".
Speaking at the seminar, Permanent Vice President of the City Journalists Association Nguyen Anh Tu stated that the program is a practical professional activity, a forum for management agencies, press orientation and media agencies of the city and the Central Government to share their experiences and methods of their units in the trend of the times with the 4.0 industrial revolution taking place strongly in the world and in Vietnam.
Faced with the need to innovate methods, strengthen Digital Transformation to serve information and propaganda work, effectively resolve practical requirements, contribute to creating unity among cadres, party members and people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws... the Seminar program is expected to have suggestions in the work of orientation and press management in accordance with the current context of Hai Phong city, which is entering the final stage to successfully implement the goals set at the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2020-2025.
At the Seminar, representatives of departments, branches, and press agencies discussed and shared experiences in building specialized pages, topics, and innovation in implementing the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term; innovations in propaganda to implement mid-term political tasks of the 16th Party Congress of the City Party Committee; experience in management and development of digital content; management and handling of bad and toxic information on social networking platforms; information orientation to serve propaganda on political activities and socio-economic development of the city...
Speaking at the Discussion Program, Director of the City Electronic Information Portal Pham Van Hung shared his views on the application of social platforms to disseminate accurate and timely information, effectively serving the direction and administration of the city's leaders, ensuring the right direction of propaganda, with key points, leading public opinion. Accordingly, providing information quickly, promptly, effectively in the spirit of frankness, openness, transparency, and rationality also contributes significantly to creating consensus between people and organizations with authorities at all levels.
