On June 30, the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Hai Phong City directed the Department of Culture and Sports of Hai Phong to summarize the Television Stage Project for the first six months of 2024 and deploy tasks for the last six months of the year.

Currently, Hai Phong is the only locality in the country implementing this project. According to a report by the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports, in the first six months of 2024, six programs and plays belonging to five art forms (Cai Luong, Drama, Music and Dance, Cheo and Puppetry) were organized and broadcast live on Hai Phong Radio and Television, broadcast on other channels and toured for free to serve the people.

Among those plays are classics that any art troupe in Vietnam and the world would want to stage, such as William Shakespeare's "Macbeth" , or the bold decision to turn "Bi Vo" by writer Nguyen Hong into a musical.

The plays of the Television Stage Project are staged and invested in elaborate scenery, props, costumes, music arrangements, sound, and lighting.

Vietnam's leading crew and artists and actors from both the central and city levels practice diligently and meticulously to bring the most valuable works to serve the public inside and outside the city.

During the implementation process, the City Department of Culture and Sports directed art troupes to be proactive and flexible in staging and broadcasting live performances at suitable locations to increase the propaganda effectiveness of the Project.

Organizing free performances for the people at the City Theater has created a deep impression, creating a cultural meeting place for tourists and people.

Speaking about the Hai Phong Television Stage Project, Musician Do Hong Quan - Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui - Chairman of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association, People's Artist Nguyen Xuan Bac - Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater, along with people's artists, meritorious artists, and leaders of related units all affirmed that Hai Phong is a bright spot and the only unit in the country implementing the Television Stage Project.

The project is implemented methodically, elaborately, and with long-term investment, creating an environment for artists to have the foundation and conditions to devote themselves to art and for the public to live in an elite artistic environment.

Without the Television Stage Project, there would not be the prosperity of Hai Phong stage as it is today.

Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Le Khac Nam affirmed that the Television Stage Project is an important foundation for five art troupes in the city to continue developing and creating excellent works.

This result comes from the attention of the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee on policy mechanisms, including financial investment.

Every year, the city spends about 40 billion VND and many other resources to invest in the Television Stage Project and cultural and artistic activities in the city.

Mr. Le Khac Nam suggested that Hai Phong's art troupes continue to promote the achieved results and continue to make efforts and be creative so that art products can serve a large audience at home and abroad in order to have more resources to care for the lives of artists and gradually develop the cultural industry.

Regarding the difficulty in the mechanism for recruiting young artists, Mr. Le Khac Nam suggested that the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports continue to work with the Hai Phong Department of Home Affairs to build a reasonable and appropriate policy mechanism capable of encouraging talent./.
