NV Apparel Co., Ltd. has 4,252 employees, of which 75% are female; 100% of employees have signed labor contracts. The company's trade union currently has 3,927 members, reaching 92% of the total number of employees. Having worked at the company for 7 years, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy said: “Every year, the company's trade union gives gifts to members during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year); visits members and employees who are sick or in difficult circumstances; and rewards the children of members who excel in their studies. The company creates conditions for employees to have stable jobs and a safe working environment; pregnant female employees are allowed to work in positions suitable to their health… helping members and employees feel secure in their work.”

Established in 2017, the Trade Union of NV Apparel Co., Ltd. has proactively coordinated with the Board of Directors to effectively fulfill its function of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members and employees, ensuring income, employment, and other welfare benefits, contributing to building a harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relationship. The collective labor agreement includes many clauses more favorable to employees, such as: a childcare allowance of VND 100,000/child/month for children under 6 years old (no limit on the number of children); and support for women during menstruation equivalent to 90 minutes of basic salary. At the beginning of 2025, the Trade Union advised the Board of Directors to increase the attendance allowance for employees from VND 500,000/month to VND 600,000/month. Increase fuel allowance for workers from 8,000 VND/day to 15,000 VND/day; increase production pay for production workers by an average of approximately 200% compared to the old regulations…

The Trade Union Executive Committee created a "Sharing Mailbox" for union members and employees to express their thoughts and aspirations. Through this mailbox, the Company's Trade Union, in coordination with the Board of Directors, resolves the legitimate requests of union members and employees in a reasonable and timely manner. Ms. Tru Thi Tuyet Vui, Head of Human Resources and President of the Trade Union at NV Apparel Co., Ltd., said that to receive support and favorable conditions from the company's leadership, the Trade Union focuses on implementing the motto of accompanying the company and caring for the employees.

“The Trade Union regularly communicates with the Board of Directors about welfare policies, improving working conditions, organizing periodic dialogues, and promptly understanding the thoughts and aspirations of employees. At the same time, it launches production emulation movements to contribute to increased productivity and work efficiency, so that company leaders clearly see the positive role of the Trade Union. Thanks to this, the Board of Directors pays attention and creates favorable conditions for the Trade Union to effectively implement activities to care for the lives of its members and employees,” Ms. Tuyet Vui said.

Thanks to the effective implementation of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union has mobilized a large number of female union members to actively participate in emulation movements and activities launched by the trade union organization, especially the "Excellent in work, good at home" emulation movement. Through this emulation movement, female union members have improved their professional skills and creative abilities; contributed hundreds of millions of VND to production and business through initiatives; many female union members and workers have achieved emulation titles and received awards. Women are increasingly confident, united, and committed, contributing to building a high-quality and professional female workforce in the company.

The trade union also organizes campaigns promoting gender equality and skills for building happy families, encouraging female members to excel in their professional duties while fulfilling their family responsibilities. These activities have created a vibrant competitive atmosphere, contributing to increased labor productivity and building a united and strong collective. By 2025, 2,916 women will have achieved the "Two Excellences" title, accounting for 91%.

With many outstanding achievements, in 2020, the Trade Union of NV Apparel Co., Ltd. was awarded a banner of emulation by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its excellent performance in the "Good at work, good at home" emulation movement. In 2025, it will continue to receive a certificate of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its outstanding achievements in the "Good at work, good at home" emulation movement for the period 2020-2025, along with many other outstanding achievements.
