Impressive music night in response to 35 years of Vietnam's response to HIV/AIDS

On the evening of November 30, 2025, at the stage of Hung Vuong Street, Luong Van Tri Ward, Lang Son Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the American AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) in Vietnam to organize a Music Night in response to 35 years of Vietnam's response to HIV/AIDS, the National Action Month for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control in 2025 and World AIDS Day (December 1).

Comrade Tran Thanh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Action Month for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control in 2025 in Lang Son province and attended the music night at Hung Vuong Street stage

Representatives of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) in Vietnam attended the music night at the Hung Vuong Street stage.

Attending the program were Mr. Chhim Sarath, Chief Representative of AHF Asia- Pacific region; Mr. Deepak Dhungel, Manager of Policy Advocacy and Image Promotion Program of AHF region; Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang, Chief Representative of AHF in Vietnam.

On the side of Lang Son province, attending were comrade Tran Thanh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Action Month for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control in 2025 in Lang Son province; leaders of departments, branches, unions, armed forces of the province; representatives of the Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control of neighboring provinces and a large number of people in the area.

Fashion show at the music night

The art program in the music night was elaborately staged with the theme "Live - Love - Spread", carrying a humane message of sharing, empathy and community responsibility in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Special performance at the music night

The music night featured the OPLUS band, singer Duong Tran Nghia, singer Thai Thuy Linh and special performances by the Lang Son Province Ethnic Arts Troupe.

Interspersed between performances was a video clip of AHF's 15-year journey in Vietnam, a fashion show with the theme "Safety - Confidence - Courage" by the transgender group, and the Viking Clap ritual - a symbol of solidarity and action for the common goal of "Leaving no one behind".

The music night attracted a large crowd of people to watch and cheer.

The music night is the highlight in a series of propaganda events of the province, demonstrating the strong commitment of all levels, sectors and the community in HIV/AIDS prevention and control, towards the goal of ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030.
